We are an international animal welfare charity dedicated to rescuing, protecting and providing lifelong sanctuary for animals in need.
With a deep-rooted passion for animal welfare, we stand for unconditional love, tireless advocacy, and building a strong community of compassionate supporters. Having recently launched our UK branch, we are committed to expanding our impact, working closely with our partner sanctuary in Austria and our other locations around Europe to provide safe, loving environments for animals in need.
To date, we have rescued and provided sanctuary to over 9,000 animals—including ex-circus tigers and ex-lab chimpanzees—offering them the care, dignity, and protection they deserve as well as developing a rehoming program for stray dogs from Romania.

Welfare
At the heart of everything we do is a simple goal: to give the animals in our care the best possible support and quality of life across all our sanctuaries. We're part of a passionate animal welfare research group, where we explore all sorts of important questions around how to look after animals in a way that’s truly good for them and fits within their natural environment.
One of our favourite projects is the Clever Pig Lab, where we’ve discovered just how curious and intelligent pigs are when they’re given the freedom to explore and express themselves in their own way.
We also take parasite management seriously, with regular checks and treatments to keep all our animals healthy and thriving. And when it comes to horses, we know their needs change over time—so we focus on what really matters to keep older horses happy, healthy, and feeling their best.
